Networking Opportunities:
Collaborate and Caffeinate is our monthly coffee meet up for members to get acquainted, share ideas and discuss Old Town business. Held on the first Tuesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Commonwealth Brewing Co. Exchange ideas, and stay in the loop on what's happening in Old Town Fairfax. We'll spend the last 15 minutes on a short educational topic followed by community announcements.

OTFBA sponsors the Business Behind Small Business podcast, featuring real conversations with local entrepreneurs about the challenges, lessons, and strategies that come with running a small business.
The BBSB Roundtable is the implementation room for The Business Behind Small Business Podcast. Each month, a small group of DMV owners meets for about 90 minutes to move from listening to doing — a short framework, honest peer discussion, and live "hot seats" where members work through a real challenge with the room. It's not networking and it's not a lecture; it's owners at a similar stage building businesses that can run without them.

The city’s Permit & License Hub houses a wealth of information, tools, and guides to help businesses navigate the various permitting and licensing processes in the city, including the business license flowchart and checklist. You can contact the city’s Building and Land Development Review Ombudsman, Tommy Scibilia, if you have any questions.
