Located on 10386 Main St. in Fairfax City, the tour will last 45-60 minutes and take visitors through all rooms on the first level of the house.
Tours are from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and there is public parking within 5 minutes.
Second and Last Saturdays of the month, May-Oct.
Open for short tours during many city events.

6:00 – 7:00 PM: Community Mingle (An informal opportunity to chat with Mayor Read. This hour is also a perfect time for families to bring younger kids to meet the Mayor and ask informal questions.)
7:00 – 9:00 PM: AMA Session
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Post-AMA Mingle & Networking
Foods: High Side provides complimentary hors d’oeuvres (first come, first served).

Format of the AMA
Moderated Session: Questions will be pre-submitted and grouped into 4 key topics.
Pre-Submitted Questions: Submit your questions via Google Form. If your question is selected, you will be notified and must attend in person to ask your question directly to the Mayor. If you are a no-show, your slot will be released for a walk-in question.
Walk-In Questions: One walk-in question will be accepted for each topic. If a pre-selected question is forfeited due to no-show, an additional walk-in will be allowed.
Follow-Ups: Each topic will allow one follow-up question for clarification if time remains.
Time per Answer: The Mayor will have 4-5 minutes to respond to each question.
Ground Rules
Respectful Questions Only: No personal attacks, slurs, or disruptive behavior. Questions should be asked in good faith.
Stay on Topic: All questions should relate to Fairfax City issues and community life.
One Question at a Time: To ensure fairness, only one question per person per turn.
Moderator Discretion: Questions may be consolidated, rephrased, or skipped if repetitive or inappropriate.

FIESTA FAIRFAX
Fiesta Fairfax is community celebration to observe Hispanic Heritage Month to include cultural performances, music, food and educational exhibits highlighting the contributions and experiences of the Hispanic, Latino and Latinx community. The Old Town Square stage will host folkloric dance performances from various countries as well as a salsa dance demonstration and class followed by a live band to practice your new dance moves.
Latin food vendors from the around the area will be available to share the flavors from across Latin America. Area non-profit organizations will also be on-site to share information about services and opportunities to work with our growing Latino community.
With Latinos comprising approximately 20% of the population of the City of Fairfax, it is our hope that Fiesta Fairfax will be a time for bringing the community together and celebrating the diversity of our wonderful City.

Tiny Music Festival on Main
Live music is coming to a parking lot near you! Mark you calendars now for The Tiny Music Fest on Main outdoor concert series in Old Town Fairfax on the first Sunday of each month from May through September from Noon to 5 p.m. (10409 Main Street, Fairfax)
Kick back on a Sunday afternoon with us for free live music in our parking lot on Main Street with beer and pizza for purchase. We’ll have first-come, first-served limited seating but we encourage you to bring your own chairs.
While you are enjoying the music, come shop unique treasures and finds at the Lucy Loves and Mode on Main Sidewalk Sale! PLUS this month we have an Art Walk with 10-12 artists featuring their work. Come down and enjoy the afternoon!

The Annual Labor Day Car Show is jointly produced by the City of Fairfax and the Clifton Lions Club. The mission of the show is to raise money for local charitable service organizations. Life with Cancer (www.lifewithcancer.org) and the Cloverleaf Equine Center are the major recipients. 100% of the proceeds from the show will be donated and all donations received are tax deductible. Donations can be made either through the link below with PayPal/Credit Card or sending a check made payable to the Clifton Lions Club, P.O. Box 41, Clifton, VA 20124
The show is open to the public free of charge, however spectators are encouraged to make a nominal attendance donation.

Ratcliffe-Allison-Pozer House Tours
Come to the Ratcliffe-Allison-Pozer House, built in 1807, to learn about life in Fairfax City over the last 200 years through the stories of the many families who lived there. Located on 10386 Main St. in Fairfax City, the tour will last 45-60 minutes and take visitors through all rooms on the first level of the house.
Tours are from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and there is public parking within 5 minutes.
Second and Last Saturdays of the month, May-Oct.
Open for short tours during many city events.
The feature exhibition is "Kitty Barrett Pozer: A Life to Honor."

Enjoy a free guided walking tour through Old Town Fairfax. See the original Courthouse (built in 1800) where George and Martha Washington’s wills are stored. Explore sites of Civil War violence, espionage, and unlikely romance centered around that Rebel bandit, John S. Mosby. And discover local grandees like Ratcliffe, Farr, and Willard, whose legacies formed our City.
The tour starts at the front of the Historic Fairfax Courthouse (corner of Main St. and Chain Bridge Rd.)
We recommend you wear a hat and sturdy walking shoes, and bring a bottle of water.
